Why not let me RUB YOU THE "RIGHT" WAY
What is Massage???
Massage is a "Hands-On" therapy in which muscles and other soft tissues are manipulated to improve health and well-being. Varieties of massage range from gentle kneading of muscles and other soft tissues to deeper manual techniques. ( Deep Tissue work isn't "supposed to hurt", if it's done properly.) Massage has been practiced as a healing art for centuries in nearly every culture around the world. It helps to relieve muscle tension, reduce stress and evoke feelings of well-being. Massage may be called by many names, (i.e. Manual Therapy, Bodywork, Myo-Therapy, Soft Tissue Manipulation.) but when you get right down to it, it should just make you feel better.
 Single dose effects
  • Pain relief: Relief from pain due to musculoskeletal  injuries and other causes is cited as a major benefit of massage. Acupressure or pressure point massage may be more beneficial than classic Swedish massage in relieving back pain. However, a meta-study conducted by scientists at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign failed to find a statistically significant reduction in pain immediately following treatment.
  • State anxiety: Massage has been shown to reduce state anxiety, a transient measure of anxiety in a given situation.
  • Blood pressure and heart rate: Massage has been shown to reduce blood pressure and heart rate as temporary effects.

 Multiple dose effects

  • Pain relief: When combined with education and exercises, massage might help sub-acute, chronic, non-specific low back pain. Furthermore, massage has been shown to reduce pain experienced in the days or weeks after treatment.[39]
  • Trait anxiety: Massage has been shown to reduce trait anxiety; a person's general susceptibility to anxiety.
  • Depression: Massage has been shown to reduce subclinical depression.

Please do not take muscle relaxers, pain relievers or alcohol prior to your treatment. As these could possibly contribute to injuries during your massage due to the diminished sensation of pain or the over relaxation of muscle/tendon tissue.

If you arrive for your appointment and appear to be intoxicated, you will be charged full price and your session will be canceled/rescheduled

Acheivement = risk + purpose

and CAN USUALLY GET SAME DAY APPOINTMENTS

 My Promise to You:
I will never do those 50 minute "HOURS"
( I feel your "hour" should consist of at least 60 minutes of "hands-on" time)
"MASSAGE TIME" does not include paperwork/consultation or changing time, please allow yourself extra time for these activities
The style of your massage/bodywork session may vary from light touch to deep tissue movement therapy and will usually be a combination of both.  This will depend on many variables such as your exact type(s) of muscular tension, physical condition, injuries, etc.  I custom tailor your personal bodywork session to your specific needs, preferences and body type.
Since every client is unique, every massage is unique
I always use a well padded comfortable professional massage table.  I cannot perform a proper, professional massage on the floor or a bed nor do I want to possibly injure myself in the process by attempting to do so.
I use only top quality massage products, which leave your skin feeling soft and moisturized.  Should you have uncommon soreness, significant injuries, or specific areas that require extra attention , please do not hesitate to bring these to my attention before or during your massage.
Your age, appearance, body type, size or physical attributes DO NOT determine whether or not if I will take you as a massage client. I am dedicated to offering a high quality, custom tailored massage to each and every client, every time.
Our massages are generally what are considered "Full-Body", with the exception of 30 minute treatments, which are an area specific massage (i.e. neck & shoulders or lower legs & feet or back & upper legs, etc.). We work on any area allowed by law,(and our clients and training) not just what is or isn't allowed by "corporate policy".

All of the professionals listed on this site provide strictly therapeutic bodywork.

Please DO NOT CONTACT us if you are
seeking any kind of sensual, sexual or inappropriate services.
Thank you.
We reserve the right to refuse service where the safety or comfort of our therapist is in question or in jeopardy. We have a non-negotiable 24 hour cancellation policy. Less than a 24 hour cancellations/no shows (repeated) will require full and complete payment of services. We provide ONLY professional massage therapy services.

Here is something else we would like to bring to the attention of the good citizens of California (and elsewhere around the country), with the introduction of massage to mainstream America, there are a few derogatory/demeaning terms still in use. These terms were used in by-gone days as slurs or in jokes. With the help of all of you, we would like to abolish the use of these to describe Massage Practitioners/Bodyworkers and Massage clinics/Spas.

Here are a few of the names/terms some people still tend (though maybe a bit misguidedly) to use:
Masseuse/Masseur: An antiquated European term and now associated closely with the darker trades in the U.S. and around the world
(Correct terms: Massage Therapist/Practitioner, Bodyworker)
Massage Parlor: A place where some unsavory things might take place.
(Correct terms: Massage Clinic, Massage Office,Spa, Clinic - places where legitimate business is conducted)

Please understand that these terms tend to continue to propagate the negative view that has plagued the massage profession for way too many years. Most of the practitioners in the industry now, are trying to make an honest living and to dispel the ideas that massage practitioners/massage therapists somehow have anything to do with prostitution or the sex trade. With the help of the public, maybe we will be able to change these opinions in the very near future.

So, please, whenever you hear someone use one of these terms, we ask that you try to educate them and help us by simply explaining the difference in the language and the harm these terms are doing.

Thank you for your help
